For those of you who know what Kodi is, I highly suggest you update your Kodi software ASAP!

The hack allows unauthorized users to attach Kodi users via subtitles. Millions of Kodi users are said to be ask risk.

Here is happens. A malicious user uploads specially crafted subtitles to OpenSubtitles.org which Kodi plugins call on to pull subtitles for movies. An unsuspected user watches a movie with the hacked subtitle file and gives access to the malicious user. From that point on, the malicious user has access to the infected system and can reek havoc on the system.
