It was reported that on March 7, 2017 WikiLeaks release documents that the CIA has released a DLL that replaces a Notepad++’s SciLexer.dll.

This tampered DLL collects and sends data back to the CIA.

I highly suggest updating your version of Notepad++ to the latest version!
